NYAL became a nexus for Quad speakermania because the Futterman amplifier was consider the key to liberating their genius. Quad owners considering themselves a speaker breed apart, and they were, so I decided to publish a quarterly magazine devoted to tweaking these English speakers, and Peter Walker supported the project.
